  Service was absolutely terrible!! I went to renew my permit and totally forgot to bring my birth certificate. We were there at about 4:15pm and they close at 5pm. We had to go all the way back across town to grab it and then rushed back to make it before 5pm. We were there at 4:45 and they told us that I couldn't take the test because all of the computers were shut down. There was an old man that was behind the counter and he was VERY rude!! He said I couldn't take it because there was only 5 minutes left and we explained that we thought that it closes at 5 and he pointed towards the door and very rudely said "It was on the door." And then completely redirected his attention towards getting back in his conversation with his colleagues. We went back outside and looked for the times on the door but since the door was propped open, we couldn't see any times so how could we have known that they won't accept anyone after 4:40?? They also very well could've told us when we were there that they won't accept anyone after 4:40 because of the computers but they didn't. It was such a terrible experience and ALL of the people there were so rude and acted as if we didn't matter at all. There was a women and a young girl there to also take her permit and they came in just ahead of us and the girl was allowed to take it because the staff knew her mother!!! They were completely unfair and unreasonable and the whole thing was completely ridiculous!

  Closed on not a holiday. It would be nice if they had public hours. Seeing they are a publicly funded private contractor. Staff do very well considering the always changing regulations, they tend to try and help.
