  I got notification that 2 packages were delivered yesterday priority mail but when I checked there was only one package. I called and explained my problem and they were very courteous and said they would check with the mail carrier. He ( the mail carrier) came in today to hand deliver my package and explained that it was too big it fit in box so he kept it until today. I appreciate that very much. I think some of the reviews are the direct result from having an attitude before they even give someone a chance to help them. Merry Christmas!!

  One of our packages was supposed to be delivered yesterday, we waited all day and no package. Today we waited all day and then at 5:00 we were notified that that package and another were delivered to our front porch, however; they weren't. We went to look for now two packages that were supposedly delivered and found them in the front of the building which has four distinctly marked condo units all having their own porch and door, not a single door for all to enter. Our unit is in the back and the packages were clearly marked with the correct unit #. Maybe if our mail wasn't being delivered in the dark, this carrier could get the mail to the correct customers.We are New to the area and not exactly happy to be out in the dark and cold with a flashlight looking for our packages on somone elses porch. Come on USPS Get it Right!!

  If I could rate ZERO STARS, I would. They keep putting vacancy slips in my mailbox, AFTER I called and complain because I had filled the intial one out and they ignored it for almost 2 weeks! They assured me the issue would be resolved that day. IT WAS NOT. I then got mail the NEXT day, and after that nothing. Just a brand new blank vacancy slip in my mailbox.

  Honestly, this is a long time coming. Never have I ever had a bad experience with a post office, and I really haven't even had many experiences with a post office altogether... Until I moved and started having to deal with Lemone in Columbia. On countless occasions, my mail has shown up months late, or not at all. Any time I've had to go to the post office, which isn't a thing I've ever had to do before moving, and deal with them personally, they have been nothing but rude and so dramatic about simple issues. ONE time, the manager/supervisor was helpful when an employee was way out of line. The final straw was today when I checked my mail and noticed that a return I had placed in my mailbox a week ago was still there. I called them and asked why it had not been picked up because I had left a note with instructions, and the note had been taken. The manager/supervisor was not helpful this time. His first action was to immediately deny responsibility. However, not only did he do that, he blamed me for the package not being taken. Apparently, when you basically leave a SIGN in your mailbox telling the carrier your package is in the larger mailbox right next to yours and it's an Amazon return, they don't understand that. Apparently, they don't understand that even when they take the sign out of your mailbox with very clear and easy to read instructions on it. Take note, this letter/sign was not folded, but standing up so you could see it when you opened my box, and the lettering was written in bold color. There could have been no accident in not taking my return package. Finally, after the manager/supervisor tried arguing with me for what seemed like years, he said he would have the carrier pick up the package. Thank god. Honestly, was it that hard to just do that in the first place? The answer is no. My point is, it seems every employee at this office is exemplary of the overall declining postal service.
