  Called for help about some bird that were stuck in a large puddle of maple syrup a resident of my apartment complex dumped out in the parking lot. They arrived quickly and got all of the birds out, and took one injured one that could not leave on his own to get looked at. Very grateful they were able to come and help.

  I called them about an injured kitten we found behind my families house and first they tried to tell me because I have a Rocheport address they don't come out to where we live and I had inform them we still live in Boone County despite that and after explaining the kitten's injury they told me unless the kitten was so injured it's "on the verge of dying" then it's "out of their jurisdiction" and won't come get him. They left it upon me to do their job and take the kitten to the Human Society to get it the help it needed.... I understand everyone has their rules but when an animal especially a baby one is hurt and is in need of help getting it that help shouldn't be decided upon the fact if its at risk of dying or not. This is not me slandering anyone, its just me being extremely disappointed by their actions.
